My desk side inspiration (Portrait by Helen Traherne)

As I said my first ‘Goodbye’ to my daughter this morning as she embarks on her adventures at Nursery in earnest, I am also saying ‘Hello’ to a new venture. As of the 2nd September (next Friday) this space will become home to my own adventures through Motherhood & provide a useful guide with a fresh twist*; honest & useful with a relevant yet alternative focus.

We all know there are lots of Mum/Mummy/Mother Blogs & sites out there doing a brilliant job of informing, entertaining & inspiring (more on those & my personal favourites later) but mine will be a different take, promise.

I have chosen this date specifically as it was my much beloved but sadly departed Grandfather’s Birthday. He was always ‘Poppy’ or ‘Pop’ to me & is the very reason why I chose that name for my darling daughter. My inspiration.
