Sophie Osborne (aged 35) is a Freelance Writer specialising in Lifestyle with focus on her journey through Motherhood whilst dealing with complex Chronic Illness.

Residing in Cambridgeshire, UK she splits her time between working remotely & as a Stay-at-Home Mother to her daughter, Poppy (aged 5). She softly launched her new venture indieandpop.com in Sept 2016 but by 2017 her health deteriorated rapidly following a suspected Stroke.

She has now returned to writing in earnest following diagnosis of her conditions – its a long list – finding treatment & ultimately, acceptance.

With a background in premium Retail, Creative Advertising & Promotions; she made the switch from Commercial to Editorial in the magazine industry. She is a published writer across Print & Online Media as well as writing features & content for top Fashion & Lifestyle brands.

Her big breakthrough came at ELLE UK as The Editor Intern to Lorraine Candy in the ‘Edited by The Interns’ initiative, 2013.

The international fashion brand GUESS , together with Shini Park, chose her as ‘One to Watch’ in their 2013 global search; acting as a UK Contributor to the GUESS Access Blog throughout 2013.
